"Why Did Jesus Die If He Is God?"
Understanding the Death of Christ Through the Eyes of Scripture and Reason
$37.00$27.00
One of the most sincere and often repeated questions I have heard from my Muslim friends is this:
“If Jesus is truly God, how could He die?”
For many Muslims, the idea of God dying seems impossible—maybe even offensive. God is eternal, all-powerful, and self-sufficient. To say that God could be killed on a cross seems to some like saying that God is weak. After all, the Qur’an says, “They did not kill him, nor crucify him—but it was made to appear so to them” (Surah 4:157). So for centuries, many Muslims have concluded that Jesus could not have died, and certainly not if He is God.
And yet, Christians have always believed that Jesus is both fully God and fully man, and that He did die on the cross, and that this was not a failure, but the greatest act of love in history. How can both views be so different? Who is right?
This book was written to answer that question. Not with arguments or attacks, but with reason, Scripture, and love. If you're reading this as a Muslim, I thank you. It takes courage to explore something this serious. You're not betraying your background or your family by reading—you are seeking truth, and God sees your heart.
In these pages, we will walk step by step through what the Bible really says about Jesus, His identity, His mission, and His death and resurrection. We'll also look at what the Qur’an says, and what it doesn’t say. You may be surprised. You may be challenged. You may also, I pray, be drawn closer to the heart of the One who made you and loves you.
Whether you read this out of curiosity, doubt, or a genuine hunger for God, I invite you to read with an open mind and a willing heart. The truth can stand up to questions—and the truth is worth everything.
May the God of truth guide your journey.
