Definition of the Trinity: Father, Son, Holy Spirit

The Trinity is the belief that God exists as three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) in one essence. This doctrine is foundational in Christian theology and distinguishes Christianity from other monotheistic religions like Judaism and Islam.

1. Father: The creator and sustainer of all things, often associated with divine authority and love (Isaiah 64:8, Matthew 6:9).
